Research:

Berenice Abbott is one of the most praised and remembered artists of the 20th century.  Originally, she did not intend on becoming a photographer. However, when she moved to Paris, France, she took up a job in a dark room.  Slowly but surely she began to gain interest in photography and began making a living from it. Eventually, Abbott was inducted into the Photography Hall of Fame and Museum in the year 2000.  After having lived a long and predominantly happy life, she moved to Maine, settled down, and created a book full of photos from Maine.
